Many visitors and members come to us looking for specific businesses to do business with and if any businesses offer discounts to AEF members.

Your business membership comes with a free listing in our Community Directory and in each issue of Alberta Bits magazine. Businesses that choose the option to offer discounts for AEF members are highlighted in Alberta Bits MagazineAlberta Bits and online. If you would like to run a business ad in Alberta Bits, member businesses receive 30 per cent off regular advertising rates!

Having a sale or a special event? As a member, your events are listed on our calendar of events (one of the most visited pages on our website).

Get featured in our E-news! Monthly news is sent to all members, four business members are randomly selected to be highlighted in each E-news.

Membership Verification

If you choose to offer a discount to members to shop with you, you can request access to membership verification and we will make it available with the click of your mouse.

Referral Credits

Refer brand-new members to us and receive a credit of $5 per referral. Credits go toward the cost of the following calendar year’s membership. To receive referral credits, the new member must submit your business name when signing up. This is a great way to get a free membership!
