Applications are accepted twice annually, from Jan. 1 to April 30 and June 1 to Sept. 30, and must include full documentation, receipts, and a completed checklist to be considered.
Celebrating recipient: Nathalie Drzewiecki
This year, the AEF proudly recognizes Nathalie Drzewiecki for her commitment to learning and growth within equestrian sport. Nathalie shared her appreciation for the support, saying:
“I’m very thankful for the opportunity to participate in local clinics, such as the Robert Gharibzadeh clinic at New View Stables, which was incredibly beneficial to the development of my riding skills and my understanding of the biomechanics of my showjumper. I’m also grateful to the Alberta Equestrian Federation for supporting its members through funding, so that I can continue to seek out development opportunities for myself and my horses. The AEF’s commitment to the growth and development of equestrians makes experiences like these more accessible and impactful.”
Supporting Alberta’s equestrian future
Through programs like this, AEF continues to invest in the growth, safety, and sustainability of equestrian sport across the province. By supporting the ongoing education of athletes, coaches, and officials, the Federation strengthens Alberta’s equestrian community and builds a foundation for lifelong learning, inclusion, and fair play.
