As fall riding and winter training season approach, now is the perfect time to reconnect. Whether you’re hitting the trails, heading to the arena, boarding at a new facility, or planning for next year’s activities, AEF membership helps keep you connected, protected, and informed.

New or lapsed member? Our Extended Membership offer is now available, giving you even more value as you ride into a new season. Extended membership provides you with coverage for the remainder of 2026 as well as 2027. This is a great option for those hitting the equine activities this fall and continuing into next year.

Individual Adult Extended Membership
Includes the remainder of 2026 & 2027

$92.00 and available to anyone 18 and over on January 1. That’s an incredible deal that won’t expire until December 31, 2027!

Individual Youth Extended Membership
Includes the remainder of 2026 & 2027

$78.80 and available to anyone 17 and under on January 1. That’s another remarkable deal that won’t expire until December 31, 2027.

Special Message from Acera Insurance:

With wildfires burning in several regions in the province, Acera Insurance would like to remind members that the automatic insurance provided with your AEF membership protects you for liability arising from the temporary care, custody, and control of up to three non-owned horses that have been displaced due to fire, flood, and other natural disasters.

Acera is also obliged to advise that new (policies) may be adversely affected if there is an active fire within 50 kms of the applicant at inception of coverage.

Funding

Available to individuals who are attending provincial events and pursuing professional or educational development.

There are two application periods for general funding.

  • Applications are accepted between January 1 and April 30 of each year; successful applicants will be notified by May 31
  • Applications are accepted between June 1 and September 30 of each year; successful applicants will be notified by October 31
