One of the benefits of being an EC NCCP-certified instructor or coach with an active Licensed Coach Status is inclusion in the AEF Coaching Directory.
This public directory helps riders, parents, and facilities connect with qualified coaching professionals who meet national standards for safety, screening, and training.
How the Directory Works
To appear in the AEF Coaching Directory, coaches must:
- Hold a valid EC NCCP certification
- Maintain an active Licensed Coach Status
- Submit a Consent to Display Personal Information form
If any required element expires (such as insurance, Safe Sport training, or first aid certification), your listing will be temporarily removed until requirements are brought up to date.
Keeping Your Listing Active
At this time, AEF and EC systems do not automatically sync. We’re actively working toward better integration, but for now a small action on your part helps keep your listing current.
Please remember to:
- Update your My-EC profile whenever you renew or add requirements
- Notify AEF once updates are complete so we can confirm and maintain your directory listing
Without notification, we may not be aware that your requirements have been renewed.
How to Get Listed
To be included in the AEF Coaching Directory:
- Hold an EC NCCP certification
- Maintain an active Licensed Coach Status
- Submit the Consent to Display Personal Information form
Once all requirements are confirmed, your profile will be added to the directory.
