NCCP Coaching Certification
We administer Equestrian Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). The goal of this program is to ensure that the equestrian experience remains safe and enjoyable for all participants, horse and human, and to develop excellence in horsemanship.
Find an EC NCCP Certified and Licensed Equestrian Coach
Whether you’re an athlete or a parent, choosing the right coach matters.
For safety, quality, and credibility, we strongly recommend working with an EC NCCP-certified and licensed instructor or coach.
Why Certification Matters
Not all coaching certifications are created equal, and some are not regulated at all.
Even if someone says they are “certified,” that doesn’t mean they meet the standards of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and Equestrian Canada (EC).
To help you make informed decisions, we maintain a live, verified directory of coaches who meet Canadian standards.
