2025 Annual Provincial Awards Nomination Form

Nominate the people, horses, and facilities that make Alberta’s equestrian community shine! Submit your nomination through the online form below. Every nomination brings us closer to celebrating the heart of our community.

Who is Eligible?

• Candidates of any age and any discipline (must hold a current AEF membership) who exhibit the qualities outlined in the Annual Provincial Awards category criteria.
• Membership exceptions for Outstanding Horse, Outstanding Stable/Facility, and Equine Support Personnel categories
• Nominations accepted only through this online form
• Open to the public – no special requirements to submit a nomination
• Individuals may be nominated for multiple categories (separate form submission required for each)

Who is Not Eligible?

• AEF staff, Board of Directors, and Scholarship & Awards Committee members (cannot nominate or be nominated)
• Self-nominations or nominations by family members
• Owners nominating their own horse for Outstanding Horse
• Posthumous nominations (horses must be alive at the time of nomination)
• Nominations from the same organization or team in consecutive years (e.g., Club XYZ cannot nominate Person A in Year 1 and Person B in Year 2)

Requirements for Submission

• Provide as much detail as possible
• Reference the specific award criteria
• Include the nominee’s full name (first & last, or full entity name)
• Ensure all contact information is correct before submitting
