2026 AEF Online Winter Training Sessions

NCCP online coach education designed to support your pathway toward certification and evaluation readiness.

The AEF NCCP Online Training Sessions provide structured coach education designed to support equestrian coaches at different stages of development, from those beginning the NCCP pathway to coaches preparing for evaluation or maintaining certification. Coaches may register for individual session blocks or for the full 10-week training series, depending on their learning needs and goals.

All sessions are delivered live online via Zoom, allowing coaches from across Alberta and other provinces to participate without travel. The sessions focus on practical coaching skills such as planning effective practices, building safe training environments, making sound coaching decisions, analyzing performance, and supporting athletes during training. Content is presented in a clear, applied format that connects directly to real coaching situations.

These sessions are suitable for coaches working toward NCCP certification as well as already certified coaches seeking Professional Development (PD) opportunities. Participation is eligible for PD points and provides practical tools coaches can immediately apply in their programs.

  • Block 1: Weeks 1–4
  • Block 2: Weeks 5–7
  • Block 3: Weeks 8–10
  • Full Series: Weeks 1–10 (includes Blocks 1–3)
