SUMMARY:6 Week Equine Massage Professionals Program
DESCRIPTION:This Program has been designed for the serious horse lover who is dedicated in bettering the life of the horse through an educated and caring touch. In this very intensive 6 Week Program that runs Monday-Friday\, students will learn:\nThe complete massage of the horse\, the equine health check\, horse handling techniques to bring together the mind of the horse and the therapist so that both are equal partners in moving forward in the heath care ideal relationship. Horses have opinions\, and knowledge of what ails them; we encourage this discussion so that both horse and human can work together to find the correct approach toward optimum healing.\nThe Vertebral Realignment Course – which is Equine Chiropractic – saddle fit\, lymphatic drainage\, advanced palpation\, over 30 advanced assessments along with all of the manual manipulation solutions\, advanced business acumen\, (a vital part of this course as students are coached so that they are ready to begin their careers immediately)\, magnetic massage\, 50+ stretches that are safe for both practitioner and horses. The Outreach Program where students visit real working farms to work with horses with real issues is a very exciting aspect of this Program as it truly prepared students for real life work experience.\nPre-course homework is accessed for all registrants so that they can prepare for this very intense Program.\nClasses are Monday-Thursday 8am-4/5pm Fridays\, 8am-no later than noon.\nMonday-Thursday\, information is relayed to students with time to practice with the horses. On the last day of each week\, students are given approx. 2 hours to work alone with a horse and apply all information learned during the course. Students will do a full owner’s report which will be submitted to Sidonia for any editing/suggestions and then sent to the owner of the horse. This is real life working conditions that are simulated each and every week so graduates are primed and ready for the real world of working with horses and owners.\nEach student will pick a topic (prior to the course start date) on natural health care pertaining to horses and give a 20-30 minute presentation on the final week of the Program.\nStudents do need a lap top/computer with a USB port to view movies. A USB stick is loaned to students to complete this aspect of the Program\nThis Program comes with 2 full colour manuals written by the Instructor of the Program\, along with all course materials.\nThe 6 Day Course is NOT a pre-requisite.\nCertification: Certified Advanced Equine Sports Massage and Vertebral Realignment Therapist\nCost of a amazing education: $3999 + GST/HST\nA $500 non-refundable deposit is required with the application form – located on the web site.
